ShadowandLight,
I salute your effort and willingness to provide an alternate Mission Guide as a substitute for Eve Survival's temporary downtime. That shows me you're a good and valuable member of the Eve Community. This Community needs more players like you instead of all the trolls currently residing here now, like the one who posted after you.
However, this thread has a link to a mirror site of the Mission Reports.
There's also Missions listed in the Evelopedia found here. The Evelopedia was made for us, the Eve Community, to create and update pages with information pertaining to Eve whenever needed.
Your idea is an excellent one which can be expanded and would probably receive more help from technical persons if it was posted in the sub forum - EVE Technology Lab - A forum for player created tools and applications, including those based on the EVE API.
There's plenty of mission guide sources to copy the information from (I already linked 2) to recreate the mission list and details into your site. Most large Alliances and or Corporations have their own web sites with information guides, member stats (Killboards) as well as blogs, pics/vids, fiction, etc.
Please do not think what you've started is a waste of time. It's not.
Once again I salute you, 07
DMC

The "beauty" is the downfall of many (I daresay most) wikis I've encountered so far. Just because anyone can edit means...
- The owner is likely to put less effort in it (and yes, the "site is up, please fill out" comments lead me to think this is the case here as well)
- Commonplace entries and glaring gaps. If you're looking for a specific information you likely end up into a stub article and start over with google searching or even trying to do some own research.
- Inconsistencies, edit wars, trolling and other nuisances all too common if more than just a few persons are involved in a project.
I could extend this list even further, but so far I've seen only a few wiki's which are suitable, and they're all heavily moderated and not "free for all, everyone can edit".
Not really.
The Evelopedia is a good example of not being heavily moderated and is free for all players to edit and or add info / create pages.
This is not the first time that Eve Survival has been down. It's been down quite a few times before though not as long as this last one. However, anything over 24 hrs is unacceptable. Trying to contact someone in charge (Janitor) in the chat channel to answer questions about submitting new mission info is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Also the Mission Reports themselves need to be updated from the 'Comments' players have posted on the pages.
My understanding is the OP has paid up for at least 2 years and is asking Community members with technical experience to help set it up, probably on a format like the Mission Reports from Eve Survival. If I had the technical know how, I'd help. When it is set up, I'll be more than happy to submit info to it.

It has been for half the life of this thread.
If you really REAALLY need the site, and can't bear to be without it for 5minutes, just use a free tool to save the website to your local disk.
It's really small, and won't take long.
Eve-survival.org has been up and running for half the life of this thread?
Lady, I don't know where you get your facts from but you really need to double check before posting. BTW, everybody already knew the site was back up and running.
The site was already down for a day or two before somebody posted a thread asking about it on 7-15-2011. This thread was posted on 7-17-2011. The site was back up on 7-21-2011 according to this thread.
Then you post here on 7-22-2011 making false statements. The site was down for over a week which doesn't translate into 5 minutes.
